and for Coronado Studio. Completing a whole year as an
intern, she has now become a staff member with her multi-task

 Brian
Johnson
Master Printer
Brian Johnson is an artist/printmaker living in Austin, TX. He is also an
instructor of printmaking, digital imaging, 2d design, color design and drawing
at Southwest Texas State University and Austin Community College.
He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from the University of South
Dakota in 1994 and his Master of Fine Arts (MFA) from the University of Texas
at Austin in 1997. Along with teaching at both institutions, he worked as
the Master Printer for Coronado Studio’s Serie' project from 1997 -
1999. Currently he serves as an artistic/technical consultant and occasional
contract Master Printer for the studio. Brian’s work has been included
in over one hundred national and international exhibits, including most recently
the Biennale internationale d’Estampe Contemporaine de Trois-Rivieres,
Slop’s Supermarket and the North American Print Exhibition.
Brian is a member of the Mid America Print Council, the Texas Fine Art Association,
the Print Center of Philadelphia and the Southern Graphics Council. |
